McKenna was born on Saturday, Sept. 24th at 5:52 pm to Dana and Patrick. She was 6 lbs. 6 oz and 19 1/2 inches. She and her momma came out perfectly healthy and happy. She is also the most beautiful little girl ever. Take a look for yourself.

Giddy up!

I'm doublefisting my cookie and my drink

Here Puddy, want some treats?

Hmm, these don't taste all that bad.

Here I am at Mommy and Daddy's third anniversary, at the Bay Voyage, where they got married. (I don't remember it)

Here I am with Mommy. She even made some new friends that day. Yay!!

Here we are at the Labor Day cookout. This is my first time every going down a slide all by myself. Mommy turned whiter than my sweater.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

Still at the cookout getting rides around the yard

Umm, Mommy, can I go play again?

Look at all the different foods Mommy gets at our family picnic.

Yeah, and all they give me is Cheerios. *grumble*

Why was I cursed with only two feet??

Oh, back at the cookout. Another fun ride!

Mommy, the washing machine was fun with the bubbles and all, but that dryer just spins a little too fast for me. Can we slow it down next time?

SURPRISE!!

Daddy, now its your turn to wear your pants on your head

We're at my cousin Pika's birthday party! 9/10/06

Hey!! Look at me! I can stand up now!

Ok, I'm a little calmer now.

Momma, can you read a book to me? I'm sleepy.

Momma and I listen to Radio Disney and sing along! La la la!

Here, I'll share noisy ball with you.

Here I am hanging out in my high chair. Gettin' big... (8/8/06)

Let me play my maraca for you. Shake shake shake!

Based on all the pictures, people are going to think I like sunglasses. Nope.

Where oh where has my daddy gone? Where oh where can he be?

Yay! There's my triathlete Daddy. And a bit smelly too!

I want to do a triathlon too!

Daddy, I need my goggles and yellow hat.

I love hugs.

I love cuddles with my Auntie Danielle.

Yep, I like to just hang out here and read books with my red eyes.

Maybe I can take a little nap while Momma's not looking.

Showing off my German side. (8/21/06)

"Roll out the barrels..."

Daddy and I are so cool, we gotta wear our sunglasses in the house!

My Momma thought I'd be cute with little alien horns. I don't think so!

My favorite little family on my 10th month birthday!

Ok, we've done this 9 times, and I've never gotten any cake. I'm having some this time!

Here I am in my pretty little green tennis dress. Anyone for doubles?

I love this little peach dress that Mommaloo got for me!

HA!! I look like a baker with my shorts on my head!

Oh, I just love my baths and wearing a towel after. Hooray!

Yeah....I'm just way too cool for all of you.

Ashley, I'm not the Pope, you don't have to kiss my ring. (7/16/06)

Mommy, I swear, I looked everywhere for Carl the Cardinal and I can't find him anywhere. I even asked Daddy and he doesn't know where he Carl is.

I keep practicing this crawling thing. I'm getting better at it. But I think I like how Mommy and Daddy crawl on just two feet.

But Daddy it's 10:30 at night, I'm tired, do I have to fold the laundry while you watch the baseball game???

Mmm, water.

If you don't have food, don't even bother talking to me right now.

Daddy's number one! Daddy's number one!!

What happened, you ask? Umm, well, you see, it went like this. Sofie was tearing around the house and decided to pull all the movies out, and I was like, Sofie, stop, Daddy doesn't want you doing that, and she was like I don't care, I'm going to do it anyway, and she did it, so I just came over here and thought I'd put them all back for you, Daddy. Yeah, that's it.

Me and my Daddy at his office picnic (6/23/06)

Here I am again with my banana net. But this time its blueberries! Yum!

Oh man, these are so good!

Yeah, I sure love blueberries!

Here's a preview of my day at the Zoo with Mommy and Daddy!

Yay! I'm mobile now!

I have a bubble beard.

If it's my birthday, then why don't *I* get to eat cake?

I'm 9 months old today! (6/24/06)

This one is special for my Auntie Gayle who got me this shirt in Florida

Check me out, eating Cheerios.

My shirt is hard to read but it says "This is what cute looks like." I'm squinting because I hate the red-eye flash on the camera. Ugh.

Oh, I still so love my banana net!

My big cousin Ashley

And my wacky Uncle Eddy.

Are you taking my picture? Hi!

I'm tired of smiling for pictures. How's this for an artistic look?

Yep, it's true. My dad is waaaay cool.

I'm a little clown with my Cheerios. And, you can see my two teeth!

Summers sure are hot.

I know I want to crawl. Hmm, how does this work again?

I love phones. They have buttons to push, they make sounds, I can talk to Daddy when he's not here...

AND I CAN EAT THEM!!

But they don't taste good. Yuck.

Me and my Mommy. The best mommy in the whole wide world. (Nope, I'm not biased)

I'm getting so big now, everyone keeps telling me.

Hey! Who stole my clothes? What are you doing with that camera? Wait, noooooo!!!

This is so much fun. Splish Splash!

Momma, can I swim? I love to swim!!

There had better be more, mister!

Mmmm, such good mush

Mommy always laughs at my fat rolls. This is my thigh.

But Daddy, I know you said I have enough shoes, but Mommy was buying a pair for herself and I said "no fair!" and she agreed, so umm, she thought the only fair thing was for either both of us get shoes or no one gets shoes. Guess which one we chose.

Yay! I'm 8 months old today. Have you seen my growth page?

Hi! I'm supposed to be showing off my little dog in my right hand, but I'd rather mug for the camera!

So there I was, just hanging out with David. I forgave him for the beating he gave me at my baptism party. But just look at him. He's plotting. I don't trust him.

I'm going to get my best friend Carl. Wait, where's Carl? Carl!!!

And just when I wasn't looking, David did it again. he tries to beat me up!

Here's me, just before I punched David in the eye...

Here's me, right after I punched David in the eye.

Here's what I thought of that! Ha Ha Ha!!!

And here's what David thought of it!

I just love my rocking chair. Though it seems to be getting smaller every day.

Whaddya mean you want to take Bruno away from me? No!!!

OH MY GOODNESS!! ICE CREAM!! ICE CREAM!! YUM YUM YUM!!! SO MUCH BETTER THAN OATMEAL! ICE CREAM!!!

Peek a boo, Mommy!

My hair is getting longer!

Mommy, you've read this one so many times, I can even read it now.

I love my cowmooflage car seat. I'm just a little sleepy.

Mommy and Daddy said something about my 7th month birthday, but all I can think about is getting my hands on that cake. Mmmm!!

Following Mommaloo's French tradition, I ended up with frosting on my nose. But I didn't get any cake!! What's up with that Momma???

Here is my Easter basket. I love Hello Kitty!

Let's see what's inside. Alas, no candy this year.

Here is my banana net. Mommy and Daddy put all kinds of yummy foods inside the net and I get to eat 'em! Sometimes its banana, sometimes, pears, and could be almost anything. This lets me practice chewing.

Or practice like I'm eating an ice cream cone. Mmm, ice cream. Wait. I have no idea what ice cream tastes like. :(

Come here Puddy!!

I joke with people and say this is my Halloween outfit. Daddy and I went as Amish people. But no, it's my Baptism dress. See others on my Baptism page!

I didn't like tummy time early on, but now I love it!

Lying on my back isn't so bad either.

Whoa! What are those!

And they seem to just disappear when they hit the carpet. Must investigate further.

A typical evening scene at our house. Someone feeding me.

Here's my Auntie Danielle's Mommy, Sally. She gives lots of kisses and squeezes.

Like my bling bling? Nanny's earrings.

Uncle Eddy and I had a funny face contest. I win!

It's rough work sitting in my Cowmooflage chair. I'll get back to you in a minute.

Just waking up. So comfy...

Meet my new friend, Chicco the Giraffe

This is my other friend, Pink Kitty.

Daddy didn't have an original comment for this picture. He just said that I'm pretty! Awwwww....

Ok, note to self: Don't sneeze while momma has a spoonful of green beans almost up to my mouth. Yeah. I dipped my nose right in the spoon. Green beans don't smell so good.

We had a few birthdays recently. This was one of Momma's gifts. I don't know why she was so happy. I think monsters are scary.

And then it was Daddy's birthday. This card is from Uncle Koko man. I didn't know that he could write. That's a smart dog!

And Daddy let me help him open his presents. That was fun!

And I helped blow out the candles. At his age, there were too many for Daddy to do it all by himself.

McKenna just loves putting her feet up. Daddy kept putting it back down, thinking that she was stuck, but nope, she kept putting it back up.

This is the last picture of McKenna in her old car seat. She has since outgrown it and gotten a much bigger one.

Just read the shirt and back off.

My Auntie Gayle got me this shirt. I love it!

Daddy, enough pictures of me in this shirt.

This is how McKenna usually starts her night, asleep on the couch. She goes to her bed when Mommy and Daddy go to bed.

I love my new jumparoo!

And of course I still love my play mat with Sammy the star

I'm one happy baby.

Jump! Jump! Jump!

Anyone who's heard McKenna's latest wailing will certainly understand this one.

Come here Koko..

Can I have a kiss?

Of course you can, McKenna!

Mommaloo, that was gross!!

Somebody get this dog spit off my face!

While we talking about kisses, come here Wally!

Mmm, biting Momma's finger

Here Momma, your turn!

Yeah, this is my grampy.

I'm starting to like getting my picture taken now. And sitting up too.

I'll just put my feet up and relax here.

Do I get my mush soon?

No really, I want my oatmeal and bananas mush!

No mush? I'll just eat my bib then.

Mommy, do I get mush now? Please!!!

Toys, toys, toys! Gimme!!

I'm five months old now! (2/24/06)

Can I have some cake too?

Look, I have a tongue!!

Daddy's funny!

Here's how I like to eat my mush...with my hands!

And after mush, I'm exhausted!!

I love my new high chair. Now I can sit at dinner with mommy and daddy.

Kisses on my cheeks tickles!

Mommy got me a new hat

Which one do I play with first?

Daddy says that he used to pout like this

Blanket? Check.
Bottle? Check.
Remote? Check.
Jammies? Check.
Yup, I'm ready for a snowstorm!

I'm getting tired of pictures again. But this Boppy is cool.

I'm pretty as a peach!

Daddy, the umpire was right, he was SAFE!!

I have enough hair for a ribbon now. Yay!

Maybe this is why Mommy and Daddy call me Little Bear

My Momma's so silly!

Well, Carl tasted so good, I'll see how Dorinda tastes!

Cheese!!

I'm practicing my rolling now.

Like my camouflage? No one can see me here

I am the center of attention. That's Auntie Danielle, Uncle Eddy, and my cousins Ashley and Terry. (1/28/06 - 4 months old)

Daddy, I'll roll over when I'm good and ready to.

I love cuddles with my cousin Ashley. Mom, can you do my hair like Ashley's?? Please!!!!

Mommaloo's a lot of fun too.

Yeah, check out my back side. Daddy says the juicy part is often in the diaper. He sounds like that's not a good thing. Hmm...

I LOVE taking showers. So much better than baths.

Mommy dressed me today and put this cute clip in my hair. Hunhhh..

I love being on my tummy now.

Get in my belly, pink kitty!

I am such a cutie pie!

I still can't believe Tom threw that pick. Just throw it away!!

Hi folks, here I am on Christmas Eve at Grampy's house. Got lots of good stuff, but I sure was tired.

Come here, Carl the Cardinal, gimme a kiss!!

B-B-B-Bennie and the Jets!

Yay! My Red Sox hat finally fits!

I'm now big enough to start wearing Momma's clothes. This was her dress when she was a baby. She even has her name on it!

I'd like to call to order the first McKenna-land staff meeting. First the treasurer's report, Piggy?

Hey, my hat almost fits now

Johnny Damon looks funny now

After a two hour car ride to Uncle Eddy's house, we're all tired and ready for a nap.

I'm a little fairy princess, lounging in my pretty fairy pajamas.

Today is Christmas Eve 2005 and I'm 3 months old

This was probably my favorite gift. But there are lots more pictures of my first Christmas on its own page!

Go Patriots!! I'm ready to play!

Mommy and Daddy think I have the cutest smile.

Who needs some creepy fat old man coming down the chimney when you could have me!!

Momma, it doesn't go there. Pay attention now.

Doing my best Carmen Miranda imitation.

Yes, I know I have the most adorable, kissable cheeks. No one can resist them!

Hahaha! Momma, you're so funny!

Uhhhhh...ribbit?

Here I am with Daddy and my brand new cousin David. He's three weeks younger than me and a *lot* lighter! Haha. As you can tell, Christmas parties really tucker me out!

(Picture taken at Cawthron Christmas Party, 12/03/2005)

Here I am meeting Santa for the first time. I wish I could have told him that I'd like some new bottles, a gigantic can of Enfamil and some new "Touch and Feel" books for Christmas, but I was, um, a little preoccupied.

Posing with Auntie Melissa and Ben.

Here I am snoozing away with my Uncle Mike and cousin Ben. Mommy and Daddy think I look just like Ben when I smile. I guess that's OK...he's a cutie pie.

McKenna at two months old, Thanksgiving Day 2005

Here's my favorite pasttime, watching Wally the Green Monster as he sings to me.

Someday I'll smile for the camera

My play mat is great!

I am 8 weeks old today! (11/19/05)
At the doctor's office I weighed 11 lbs, 15 oz and grew 4 inches since I was born. I'm almost 2 feet tall.

Here I am in my rocking chair

I got tired of someone else rocking me to sleep, so I'm doing it all by myself now

HA HA HA!! Daddy told me the same joke that Sofie laughed at a few months ago.

Touch and Feel Farm is my favorite book!

Momma is so cuddly and sleepy

Momma and Mommaloo thought this was funny

Momma laughed at me when she saw me in this outfit, but Daddy dressed me in it and then he got sad and Momma changed me. Daddy and I thought I look good.

My big cousin Mike and my little cousin David. David is three weeks younger than me. I'm not the youngest any more. Yay!

With Daddy at Grampy's house

(11/12/05 - 7 weeks old!)

I just love sitting up all by myself. Can't you tell?

Hi Mommy!

I'm a clean and smiley baby!

They always pull my pants up way too high.

All bundled up after my bath. Nice and warm.

Just finished my bath. I smell just like lavender

Many of you have heard that I don't let Mommy put me down at all, and she has to even sleep with me. Here's how we sleep. Yes, we're both actually asleep here.

I'm not used to being up this high. I'm afraid of heights, so I kept my eyes closed!

Here's the cool outfit that Auntie Danielle got for me, complete with the hat.

Momma got me this really great pea coat. Only problem is that I'm wearing so much that I can't even move.

I'm 6 weeks old in this picture (taken 11/7/05)

Daddy and his little black cat

No more trick or treating! I'm sleepy.

Meow.

Candy is so good for Halloween

Zzzzzzzzzzzz....

I'm a grumpy little sunflower

You guys go ahead and have some pie. I'm just gonna take a little nap right here.

The Lavertys at Phantom Farms
10/30/05

Happy Birthday to you! (10/24/05)
McKenna's a month old!

McKenna, Daddy had nothing to do with this. This was all Mommy and Grandma. I swear.

No cupcake for me, I'm watching my figure.

It's true. I do love my Mommy.

Daddy is so comfy.

My little sister Sofie also cuddling with Daddy

Keep reading to me Momma, while I sneak over to those cookies. Mmmm, cookies...

Playing makes me tired. That cow just wipes me out.

My day at the spa

I am so cute!!

One more picture and I'll punch you!

Hands off, Momma, I can do it.

Momma! Are you awake?? I wanna play!!

(Picture taken 10/11/05 and McKenna weighed 7 lbs, 5 oz today at her checkup)

Popaloo says I have big feet. I don't think so.

Getting my hair done at the spa. This is the life.

Cuddling with my red dog Wubanub.

Go Patriots!! Will *they* win the Super Bowl in my lifetime? Probably!

Daddy!! The Patriots are losing!!

Gimme an "R"!

Yeah, whatever, I can't spell anyway. Just win Sox!

I'm the little princess. Sitting on my cushioned throne.

It's tiring being a princess. (10/7/05)

Here's the embarrassing picture we can show to her prom date in a few years!

Daddy is pretty comfy to sit with

Relaxing at the changing table (10/5/05)

Big yawns

Our cherub

I have the cuddliest Momma ever!

I love my binky! I refuse all others!

Will the Red Sox win the World Series in *my* lifetime?

Dad! I'm trying to sleep here! (Day 6)

I love this vibrating chair...and wearing jeans.

Mommy and Daddy give me my first bath! I loved it!

Day 4 of my life. Still pretty tired.

Resting after the big move.

Here I am on the warming table just minutes after I was born.

"Now I lay me down to sleep..."

I salute my Momma for getting me outta there.

The nurse is showing off my dirty feet. Check out my footprint in the background.

Me, Momma and Daddy. (I'm the one in white)

This is my friend Noreen, the very nice nurse-midwife who delivered me. I poked my head out and hers was the first face I saw!

Women & Infants offers a "Stork Dinner" to new parents where they really expand on t he menu. Mommy had lasagna, salad, chocolate torte and mmmm, a glass of wine. Daddy had filet mignon. I'll stick with milk, thank you.

Here are some pictures of McKenna before she was born and known as just Razzy, due to being the size of a raspberry when we found out about her.

Here are the 3D pictures that we got of her at 34 1/2 weeks

Her right hand is up by her eye and you can sorta see her left hand down by her cheek

Chubby little face...

Resting her head on her right forearm

Get a good look at those toes now, before Momma starts nibbling on them!!

We gotta get a picture of Razzy from the outside!
(33 weeks)

Chubby cheeks!!

She has her hands by her face here.

Here is Razzy's face. No, we're not having an alien baby

Her arm!

Here's why we think Razzy's a girl

And little Razzy's foot
These above, and the bottom left one were taken right around 7 weeks. We can't make out that much, but in the doctor's office, we could see a tiny heart beating right in the center of it all. The smaller piece above Razzy is the yolk sac, which feeds Raz. You'll see in the later pictures below, its gone and replaced by the umbilical cord.

In this picture and the one below, Razzy is a little over 8 weeks along and you can already see huge changes. You can actually make out a head, an arm, and little legs. Just below the drawn-in line for the arms is the umbilical cord. Down below, body parts are pointed out.

Here, Razzy's parts are pointed out. Pretty cool, huh? Razzy looks pretty big, but is actually only slightly more than an inch long. Thus the name, Razzy.
